Graham and Christine a belated thank you for having us at such short notice, having wandered accidentally off route ! Serendipity indeed. What a lovely evening we had in your beautiful house - a great dinner and very amusing reminiscences of Yorkshire. I hope to return en route to Italy next time - with more notice !!!.

We’ve been home for a few weeks now, and had time to reflect on a great 6 nights B & B with Christine & Graham. The countryside is wonderful, so peaceful, with some good cycling. A place to relax in a friendly atmosphere, but the real star was Custard, a great character. What else would you expect at Crème Anglaise!

OOh we had such a lovely weekend! Thankyou for spoiling us! Katie's apologies to Graham for getting self conscious on the singing front (that rarely happens, honest!) Will pop a CD in the post as soon as we can. Thankx again and we do hope to return. Katie n Ian

Just wanted to say thank you for our wonderful stay at 'Grand Creme'.
The house is lovely and so well equipped - the best self-catering we've had in France. I've just been looking at the photos on your website and wishing we were still there rather than returning to work today - 2 weeks just wasn't enough.

Thank you for a wonderful time at your home, everything, the food the
wine and the view were very special. You are both wonderful hosts
and I am hoping to bring my husband back to Maison Crème Anglaise. I
am telling everyone I know how lovely your bed and breakfast is.
Thank you again.

Just returned from two weeks at 'The House of English Custard' and what a lovely time we had! Wonderful house, beautiful views and excellent hosts both with superb senses of humour (please don't tell Graham we said so...)! We are delighted to recommend this establishment and will certainly return ourselves!

Thank you for such a fantastic holiday. You made us so welcome in your beautiful home. The village, surrounding area , food & wine were all wonderful, we can't wait to visit you again.
The help and suggestions for places to see and visit was invaluable and made our stay so enjoyable.
Thanks again and see you soon.

"A weekend in the country is delightful" when it's planned by Graham and Christine. "You should try it - peace and quiet" - super food and good wine. We recommend the Buying In Burgundy Winter Break especially. Travel by Eurostar and TGV via Lille so straightforward and relaxing with good book. On arrival met by Graham with the car at Montbard. Whisked to candle-light supper cooked by Christine. Maison Crème Anglaise warm and cosy with the smell of wood log fires. Mediaeval Montréal timeless, peaceful - you'll want to live there too.
